How is it any worse then yours?

Kerry & Co. are allowed to get mad that Bush was a draft dodger who joined the national guard and went into pilot training to support his country, but, gladly accept the help of Clinton who ran away and had nothing to do with Vietnam.

Didn't somebody attack Libya in response to terrorism?

I'm sure it was one of those presidents mentioned in this thread.

WTF does any of that have to do with the topic of this thread?

It doesn't have anything to do with it. I'm seriously wondering if LordJezo is drunk.

And btw, Clinton was a Rhodes' Scholar in London at the time. Are you a Rhodes Scholar, LordJezo? If not, why are you not in the armed forces?

Of course that's all he read, if he read the rest and had to acknowledged the fact that Clinton's people did do something, then he couldn't go on blaming Clinton by saying "He did nothing", like some other people on this board do.

Because I am doing my part by working a job helping to support the US economy.

I applied for a ton of jobs in the Navy, Army, and Air Force as a civilian, but, they never hiried me. I even applied to be a boat painter in Alaska.

Guess the didn't want me, so here I sit doing what I can.

That was in response to a bombing of a Berlin Disco where American Servicemen were killed. If I recall it turned out that Libya wasn't behind it. Of course they were behind that terrorist bombing of that Pan Am Airliner over Lockerbie Scotland.

Richard Clarke talked about the failures of Clinton already, but he also said Clinton had great successes toward terrorism...

[/b]The vice president commented that there was "no great success in dealing with terrorists" during the 1990s, when you were serving under President Clinton. He asked, "What were they doing?"[/b]

Richard Clarke: It's possible that the vice president has spent so little time studying the terrorist phenomenon that he doesn't know about the successes in the 1990s. There were many. The Clinton administration stopped Iraqi terrorism against the United States, through military intervention. It stopped Iranian terrorism against the United States, through covert action. It stopped the al-Qaida attempt to have a dominant influence in Bosnia. It stopped the terrorist attacks at the millennium. It stopped many other terrorist attacks, including on the U.S. embassy in Albania. And it began a lethal covert action program against al-Qaida; it also launched military strikes against al-Qaida. Maybe the vice president was so busy running Halliburton at the time that he didn't notice.

I'm more mad 3000 people died on 9/11 despite the Bush administration ignoring the past couple warnings a monthe earlier, and then trying to pin it on Iraq. And now we're in Iraq and 16000 Iraqi's are dead, and so are almost 600 US soldiers.

So basically you're a huge hypocrite when it comes to criticizing anyone's patriotism based off of their military service, and we should disregard said comments from you as BS?

When did I question anyone's patriotism about anyone's military service?

Nevermind, you don't have an apology due: "How is it any worse then yours?

Still not quite sure how that is questioning anyones patriotism.

To me that looks like I was wondering why Kerry can say one thing one day about one person, and then stand side by side with someone who did exactly what Kerry said he was against.

I'm not seeing where he called him a draft dodger.

''I've said since the day I came back from Vietnam that it was not an issue to me if somebody chose to go to Canada or to go to jail or to be a conscientious objector or to serve in the National Guard or elsewhere,"

Seems to me that his inclusion of NG with other "draft dodgers". He seems to equate them.
