I thought it was good, but not great. I had high expectations because of all the hype, ended up kind of disappointed.

I thought it was good. I don't know that I'd ever see it again, necessarily... Now Napoleon Dynamite, there's a movie that I absolutely hated. Or Punch Drunk Love... I had people tell me these movies were the epitome of everything that was good and right with the world, and I'm still hunting down the last of them so they can shed blood for their betrayal.

I liked Punch Drunk Love. I thought the fight scene was anti-climactic though, I wanted to see him snap and go neanderthal on them.

Good movie

Grandpa made the movie - his foul mouthed antics were hilarious!

This. It was disappointing when you know what happen to him.

That is the strength and beauty of the film!

I enjoyed it.

yeah, no shit. That's the most pathetically bizarre reason to reject a film that Wes Anderson wasn't even involved with.

I don't like movies where I'm left feeling bad for the characters all the way through to the end, like most of Ben Stiller's movies. The Meet The Parents movie's didn't appeal to me at all.

I had difficulty watching "Meet the Parents" too. Too many, "Oh! Come. ON!!!" moments for me ;)

lol. great rage. I'm with you on Napolean Dynamite. That flick shot its wad in the first Act. Don't know why they tried to stretch the odd nerd schtick so far.

As for Punch Drunk Love...I liked it. Didn't love it, but I enjoyed it more than the hate it received. I'd say PT Anderson's weakest effort...and he's hit some pretty freaking high notes.

Pretentious??????????????????

If the quantity of question marks didn't explain my view of that, let me repharse: Are you serious?????

This was not a movie that was hard to comprehend. What sort of pretension was there in this movie?

ditto. ....and I'm curious about this interpretation of artsy-fartsy. La Jetee is artsy-fartsy. Little Miss Sunshine couldn't be more simple.

....Is it the curious absence of Vin Diesel or Michael Bay that makes a film artsy-fartsy?
