anyone else gonna deep fry a turnkey this year?

My family tried it last year and it turned out really good. I think we're are going to do it again this year.

smoked turnkey is the only way to go.

then roasted

i enjoy both ways, however, i had a turnkey once fryed in a nice deep fryer, and i've always wanted to try it since.. and well.. i think i'm gonna do it.. i have a propane fryer, might as well!!

Deep fried turkey is better than roasted turkey, but that doesn't make it good and it damn sure does not make it worth that much effort. Skip the turkey entirely.

Just be careful with the oil and lower the turkey in slowly. Don't over fill it or else you'll be in for quite the surprise. 😛

That's what I'm thinking of doing this year. I did the smoked turkey thing for the past couple of years and it was good. But I rather have steak than turkey so I'm thinking maybe grilling couple steaks instead.
