I went to the grocery yesterday. They were cleaned out of butter. We're a Shedd Spread kind of town and people decided to hoard butter? Jerks.
you sure they are hoarding butter for cooking?? Perhaps the KY Jelly isle is empty.....lolI went to the grocery yesterday. They were cleaned out of butter. We're a Shedd Spread kind of town and people decided to hoard butter? Jerks.
I noticed that too!! I am not allowed to drink beer because of my kidneys! But I know of a man who instead of water is stockpiling beer....lololBeer isle are still stocked.
Sorry. Slacking.
Paper products are problematic with a new puppy but otherwise OK for now. I have about 6 months of flour if I bake every other day. Made some white bread, not that crappy storebought stuff. Veggies aren't in short supply yet and I've plenty of meat, which I can use less of.

I don't know. It was on the plate. Maybe my wife thought I wanted to use it since the bread crust had slight sticky sweet glaze and I was on my laptop computer looking at the market. I used my hands to eat.Heavenly!
But I have to ask about the fork.
Was laughing at the, I bought dried beans, crowd. They have never soaked a bean in their lives.Over the weekend aldi was almost completely stripped of canned vegetables. I wanted greenbeans, but all they was French cut, which isn't my favorite. I got two cans. There was very little else. Nothing I was interested in anyway. Wegmans was 100% stripped. The only thing they had were beans of various kinds.
On one hand I don't want to order take out as it comes with a small risk, on the other hand I want to take advantage of it while it's available, so I can save the food I already have here.
I'm not sure if Home Depot is considered essential or not but I may do a trip if it's still open, I want to get stuff to grow vegetables. I hope they'll have top soil indoors as the garden centre is not opening any time soon.
It takes a week or two but you can make a sourdough starter. Once it's fully developed it only needs to be fed once a week kept in the fridge. Keep the discarded portions to use for waffles.I wanted to bake some bread but I couldn't find yeast....
this is ridiculous
I went to Target to buy a belt. Mines evidently snapped in half. I have no idea why. I do not have a pot belly or beer belly. I found one then I shot over to the grocery section. The shelves were barren in some aisles. Got to the meat department. Not a hen, chicken or beef in sight. I was shocked. No chicken, burgers, steaks - nada! I know people were hoarding cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, bleach, toilet paper and paper towels but, this is ridiculous.
