I have done all kinds of crap to it, but for some reason, the tuner in me wants a camaro or something like that with lots o power and go fast parts. I have my bike... so i dont know if i need it. I bought this truck to be our family vehicle, but since then, we bought a yukon... so i dont need this big bastad anymore. The bad thing is im upside down on it about 3 to 4 grand. That will be gone by year end, but it sucks in the meantime. Anyone else get tired of their vehicles by the 3rd year? I think i should lease!

I just dont get it. I love the truck, im just sick of it. I want something go really fast. Maybe next year, once all the debt is gone in the truck, i will just pay it off for the work load it can do and get a new car. I just wish it was already next year.

Maybe once i put some big a55 tires on it and lift it up a few inches... it may spring new life into her.

I haven't lost interest in my 99 Stratus since I bought it in 99.
I bought a 2000 Durango RT and sold it before I lost interest in it. It wqas a chronic headache, kept eating plugs and no one would fix it.
The warranty ran out, and so did it's luck.
The wife traded it in on her truck three years ago and her main complaint about getting a new vehicle is that she doesn't want to get rid of her little s10 4-door.
I'll probably buy a new vehicle this summer, probably in August.
I want a 300M, the last style.

This is why you get 3-4yr old cars with low milage and save £££ so you can use them until your board then sell on and don't lose as much as buying new :p

I can't say I'm bored as I bought a cheap car (read £600 car :p) to save £££. It would be nice to get a better car but it will do for now.

This is the reason why a good portion of Americans go into debt. ;)

I'll pass on payments, I bought a cheap car paid in full. (1995 Mercury Mystique)

I'll drive it for at least the next 8 years and use my money on things that don't dramatically lose their value over absurdly short periods of time.

I don't really lose interest in my cars unless they give me problems.. I have a fast motorcycle for fun & I choose my car to get me from A to B if you follow me, so theres not so much to get bored of.

Buy another big truck you can't afford since you seem to love debt.

Why would you lift a Ram? It's not meant to be an off road vehicle.... Poseur.

The fewer cars I own in my lifetime, the better for my bank account. I keep 'em until they are used up. That made it possible for me to pay cash for the one I have now, by socking away the money I would have been using for car payments.

Hopefully, no more car payments in my lifetime.

My truck, '99 GMC Sierra, is about to hit 7 years old in 20 days, never got tired of it at any time.

Never owned a new car in the 30+ years I've been driving. No car payments either. I still wonder why so many people put so much effort into waxing and buffing their cars, and using only high quality oil, when they're just going to get rid of it after a few years anyway. Hell, I buy my cars ten years used, and drive 'em till the wheels are square. I still don't fuss over them much at all.

I don't really get tired of mine. I've had my Trans Am for 6.5 years, and I'll probably keep it till the wheels fall off. I had my Mustang for a hair over 4 years, and the only reason I'm getting rid of it is because the trans blew out and it's not worth fixing it. I didn't like that car very much, but it was good as a winter beater.

I don't like buying cars - I'd rather save the money than spend it on full coverage insurance and car payments. I like paying for stuff outright, rather than have hefty monthly bills.

if you're gonna get tired of cars so fast,

a) don't buy new
b) don't buy domestic.

you'll just get killed on depreciation and that's why you're upside down.
