Hopefully, no more car payments in my lifetime.

What year/make/model car do you own currently?

2005 Buick LeSabre.

They can't. Hence why the average American has over $9k in credit card debt.

Woot, $0.00 here. But doesn't that make me below average?:)

No because I have better things to do with my money then lose piles of it to depreciation cost.

If a car means that much to you then you probably should seek help.

Heh, none here either (I pay it off in full every month).
Of course, I just bought a car to replace my now-dead Mustang off Ebay for $700. Of course, the "new" car is pushing 18 years old, but it's something I've always wanted. :) I've never been a "keep up with the neighbors" type. I just buy what I like.

The longest I've ever had one model of car was a Mercury Topaz.... but I went from a 4cyl ATX to a 3.0L V6 5M to a 3.0L V6 ATX.... in a matter of almost 3 years.
Before that I had a 86 Pontiac Parisienne for ~3 months, and I've had my current 94 Saturn SC2 for almost 4 months. Liking the Saturn a lot, but it's short on grunt. This is all in not even 3.5 years of driving cars ;)

To answer the OP's question, I was starting to get tired of the Topaz's handling and the car in general.

I got my ram 4x4 quad cab in '99 and I still love it as much as I did the day I got it. That said it's parked and I'm driving my G35c.

In my family we get new cars and drive them in the ground(so to speak) before we get another.

yea, im just wondering if i should just drive it until it falls apart, and get another bike... spring will be here soon. plus, motorcycles tend to keep their value, and the one i want will run its ass off.
