One of the reporters on the local TV station said tonight:
We support spreading democracy all over the world, so why would we NOT want to vote, which IS democracy in action?
OP, yes, all too often, it seems like we're voting for the one we hate least. I've been a Democrat all my life, and have NEVER voted across party lines, although sometimes, I feel that the candidate I'm voting for sux...they just suck less than the other guy. I voted for Gore and Kerry, not so much becauce I thought they were the best or right men for the job, but more because "ANYONE BUT BUSH" seemed to be proper...and time has shown me that I was right. I REALLY wish the Democratic party would come up with some good candidates...someone I could REALLY get behind...but no...they leave me having to vote for "the lesser of two evils"...
