**Raises Hand**

I've been listening to "Whenever I Say Your Name" alot on his latest album. I absolutely LOATHE Mary J. Blidge, but she really adds to the song in this case.

I really liked Sting a whole lot in the immediate post-Police days. I haven't listened to any of his stuff in a long while, though. I would probably still like it, I bet.

My sister dragged me to his concert week before last at the tweeter center. He was pretty good.

I like his Police days but some of his work afterward has been pleasant as well.

**Makes confession**

"In the Moonlight" is one of the few songs that can make me tear up

I like the Police quite a bit, but I'm not too familiar with his solo and/or recent stuff.

I can't say I've followed his solo work, but it seems very mellow and not very "rockin" IMO and I need the rock! The Police on the other hand.......

I really dig a ton of his Police stuff, and I really like a select few tracks of his solo stuff. A lot of the solo stuff tends to go into the "Damn, he is really a huge hippie" category that made me dislike a few of the later Police tracks. Sting and The Police were at their best when it was all about the groove of the song and the lyrics weren't trying to be overly meaningful or symbolic.

Anyone else? No, that seems unlikely. :p
It's not anything I just sit there and listen to, but it's not bad. I can't remember her name, but there's a celtic harpist who plays Fields of Gold, and I gotta tell you, it sounds pretty good on the harp.

I like what I have heard so far, but that is only a handful of songs. Also, I'm not really a fan of The Police, just his newer stuff.

Also, I saw a movie at an IMAX about dolphins and it had a Sting soundtrack, and all of the songs were good, but I dunno what any of them were called.+

THe song at the end of Leon The Professional was also very good. It is called "Shape of my Heart".

I really liked Dream of the Blue Turtles and Nothing Like the Sun when they first came out (yep I'm a geezer), and Ten Summoner's Tales was pretty good too, but I've found every album since then much less interesting.

I saw that movie listed yesterday for the IMAX in Atlanta when I was looking at the offerings and it said music by Sting. I wasn't convinced I wanted to spend my money on a movie about dolphins, though. Some of the other features looked better. How was it?

John Tesh has performed Sting's music. 'Nuff said.

Most all of his work, both solo and with others, is very good.
