Ten summoner's tales... great album... and that song from the Professional "Shape of my Heart" is also a great song.

Most all of his work, both solo and with others, is very good.

John Tesh is a douche. Even he knows it

You might not like the man, but he's a great composer. I can no longer count the number of people I have heard say "Don't tell anyone I said this, but John Tesh really does write good music."

I like what I have heard so far, but that is only a handful of songs. Also, I'm not really a fan of The Police, just his newer stuff.

Also, I saw a movie at an IMAX about dolphins and it had a Sting soundtrack, and all of the songs were good, but I dunno what any of them were called.+

I saw that movie listed yesterday for the IMAX in Atlanta when I was looking at the offerings and it said music by Sting. I wasn't convinced I wanted to spend my money on a movie about dolphins, though. Some of the other features looked better. How was it?

It was ok. I don't have an IMAX anywhere near me so I was going to go see something regardless of what it was just for the novelty of watching it on a 6 story screen. It was interesting though, like watching a National Geographic movie on a huge screen with a Sting soundtrack.

The best thing he ever did was the NBA on NBC theme song. That's about it :p

You are in good company. The nearest one to me is three hours away in New Orleans. I saw a nature flick in 3D there last year and was astounded. First time I had ever been. That is why I am looking forward to going to another IMAX but in Atlanta this time.

Sting's lyrics make Aerosmith "jailbaits" look like a Disney animation.

...
She wants him so badly
Knows what she wants to be
Inside her there's longing
This girl's an open page...

Her friends are so jealous
You know how bad girls get
Sometimes it's not so easy
To be the teacher's pet
Temptation, frustration
So bad it makes him cry
Wet bus stop, she's waiting
His car is warm and dry...

His early solo stuff was really quite good, but he's been slowly progressing more and more into the realm of "adult easy listening" lately. :(

<--- still has a Dream of the Blue Turtles concert T around somewhere.
