Anyone else buying Starcraft 2 to just play the singleplayer campaign?

I know I already posted here, but I am going to wait till this game goes on sale. I predict some time mid-August it will be seen for $40. Just speculation, but I hope so. Hopefully the collectors edition goes for cheap, so I can get the Thor pet.

buying it for the story really but what i really want to see is what the community does with the world editor. I remember the preview blizzard did for the world editor and it was amazing

The Collector's Edition didn't really offer anything cool at all or anything extra in game. If you play WOW then yea but it was meh especially for the price.

I'll buy it perhaps when it drops in price. I still hate the idea of $60 pc games...

$30 is the magic number for me.

yeah i'll pick it up for the single player. i've been watching some beta clan matches and games don't last more than a few minutes. people have already figured out how to dominate in the game, and i wasn't very good at the first one.

i thought including the original SC/BW on a USB stick was slick. also, a 176 page artbook is pretty badass.

It's going to be a lot longer than a couple more years for all 3 games to be $40. The WarCraft III BattleChest still runs about $40 and the Diablo II BattleCHest still runs about $30.

CE apparently sold out 3 months ago at my Gamestop. Good thing too because I was actually considering getting it. I'm stoked for the campaign and will play it first, and mess around online. After the campaign's done I'm gonna go online and start owning.

On Amazon, the lowest new price out of 13 sellers for the WC3 battle chest is $30, and the lowest used is $20.
