I know when I go and play this game on Xbox live, it is hard for me to sign out. I played yesterday for probably a total of like 7 hours ...

3pm - 6pm = Halo 2
6 - 6:30 = Food time
6:30 - 8 = Halo 2
8 - 8:30 = Simpsons Time
8:30 - 9 = waste of half hour
9 - 10 = my big fat obnoxious boss
10 - 11 = halo 2 time
11 - 12am = chill with gf and hit it
12am - 2am = Halo 2 time

that's alot of time! and all of the times except the last 2 hours, I was playing with my friend at my house on split screen xbox live games. and the best thing is that my gf really HATES watching me play video games, but she is really fascinated with the whole xbox live thing because she thinks its so cool how you can talk to people all over the country and play against them too, and have 3 people in the warthog. she even wanted to talk on the headset while we were playing and telling people 'yea i'm purbeast and i'm a girl kicking your a$$'.

it was great! and i find myself playing it EVERYTIME i have free time! i have hardly played single player mode as well, just on xbox live!

anyone else addicted to this drug?

I just signed up for Live yesterday, and started the SP last week, but haven't had much time to play either yet 🙁

BTW, prepare yourself for the "Wrong Forum" posting crowd
 
i really didn't think the game was so great... i did however, love the way they set up the dual wield.

yea it was the only alone time we had heh. my friends left and her lil brother was doing homework on the computer all night at my house, so we had an hour before she had to leave to take her brother home cause it was a school night for him.
 
XBL is for suckers.. Use XBConnect or Kai instead (free!)

Oh.. And I suck horribly too, I always get my ass handed to me.

the vehicles, especially the ghost, as well as having 3 people in the warthog, is by far my favorite thing in multiplayer. it is just so fun getting in a car with 2 other real people and each having a different role.

like in CTF modes, you have the gunner on the back and the driver, then im the passenger. we drive to their base, i get in the base to grab the flag while they are outside looking out, run out with the flag and get back into the passenger seat, and we are back on our way to deliver the flag!

that, and i love to friggin blow up a warthog with 3 people in it by locking on with the rocket launcher. it is great to hear TRIPLE KILL and see 3 guys dead 😛.

and riding the ghost and running over people is priceless... especially hearing the reacitons from talking to people on xbox live.

considering that all the tunneling software has at most 1000 people on at a time (while usually over 80,000 on xblive), not to mention you need to have a decent up speed to host a game, and you have to have a computer in line of your xbox, i would say the tunneling software is for cheapa$$es as well as pirates. i know my xbox has a mod in it, but i still support xbox live and purchase all of my games.

my only gripe about xbox live is that i have only had it for 2 months and i wish i had purchased it when it first came out 🙁. you really haven't experienced xbox until you have been on xbox live.

Yeah, I'm hooked too. We got it for one of my housemates for his birthday. I played the original maybe once or twice, but I'm hooked to Halo 2. We play it for hours in 4-player mode.

sorry pal, i actually understand why the whole banning thing is going on, and since i am in the clear, i am all good.

the only people who are getting banned are people who have changed their HD/EEPROM AFTER they already signed up for xbox live. and since i only have a modchip, as well a stock HD on mine, i am okay.

and FYI, this banning has been going on since mid october if you cared to do some research. it was in an update that was released then. however since 2.38 million copies of halo 2 were sold on opening day, and this forces you to get that update, people started to associated halo 2 with this new banning, which is not true.
 
Yep all the time. Started a clan with my roommate, inviting random people, we're up to 5 members now 🙂 I'm level 6 and rising...
