i have a philips hd100 but it doesn't like movement

I don't own one, but it's flash memory. -> You can't make it skip.

It's also an athletic device, that's one of its features.

it uses a microdrive...it is not flash memory.

and for whoever was asking if you can pop out the 4gb MD and put in a CF, yes you can. it did not work with my no name brand 512MB CF card, but i traded that for a 512MB Lexar CF card, formatted it in the Muvo2 and it works like a charm.

my 10D is loving 4GB of storage space. :D
OOOOOOOOooooohhhhhh. I thought this was about the X-Trainer. Ok I gotcha. Yeah, the normal MuVo² doesn't have flash, sry.

Lots of links around. Here's one:

I just got one myself, I think I'll ebay it.

unless you use the 4GB microdrive for yourself, this really isn't a great deal because everybody's doing this. the prices on ebay for the microdrive aren't much more than $200

I heard from someone that CreativeLabs had the pins changed on the Muvo2 microdrive so that it can't be used for other products. Is this true?

not sure, does the S400 have a CF II slot? if so, it should work unless your camera cannot address more than 4GB.

This has been a huge rumor probably started by an ebayer who didn't want people buying the Muvo2's. I'm pretty sure that everyone who has received a Muvo2 up to now has the removable microdrive.

I'm still waiting to get mine, and i actually only want to use it for an mp3 player... it's purpose!

Yes, I remember seeing this prick on eBay once the 4GB started appearing. Funny how he was selling gray-market 4GB Microdrives at the same time, which are just as "shady".

Just got mine today. Came out to something like $220 shipped from Creative. Now time to canabalize it.

Personally, if I was getting it just as a player I would have gotten the iPod mini (have a 5GB iPod and have played around with the mini), especially since after shipping the difference is only $30 or so. Just too plasticy for my tastes, the door for the battery seems rather flimsy, navigation is a pain since the toggle button is so small, and the screen is too small to read easily.
