the concept of the Wheel sucked royally--mostly cause almost every single dunk (outside the 2 dominques) was a Dr. J
the contestants are doing the best they can, but some of those older dunks are pretty generic (nowadays, that is...back in the 70s they were great), and the dunkers are really restricted from doing of higher caliber/creativity. so essentially, if they get a very generic dunk like the 1ft. within the FT line, they get deducted for being "ordinary" as well as for not exactly replicating the original dunker's technique
as for the criticism of Vince and Kobe, I'd love to see em go against one another--and within the next few years so they both still have their legs. was watching a ESPN2 op/ed piece and the commentators gave some good reasons for they not appearing, mostly cause pretty much everything that can be done has already been done. everything we saw yesterday we've seen already, with slight variation here and there.
