They get hated on because they suck.

I tivo'd one of their concerts in HD and could only watch a few songs before I deleted it. They seemed like a watered down version of U2.

I am enjoying the song "Lost" - not sure if it's new or not. very good. not historically a fan, however. found them to sound somewhat repetitive beforehand.

Just downloaded the full album from Amazon (only $8.99). 42 and Viva la Vida are awesome, but hands down my favorite: Yes!.
