Anybody here get a flu shot?

I've only had the flu once. I've never had a flu shot .. don't plan on starting any time soon.

Why worry about getting one anyway. Last year I heard after all the flu shots were produced and delivered that the strain contained in them would be ineffective againt the flu bug going around at that time.

They are just making it scarce so people will want it more... People always want rare things. I've had the flu twice in my life both times I had over 104 temperature. It's actually amusing because one of the times I sat in a 115 degree car and thought it was nice. When your shivering in 83 degree weather you know you got the flu : )

It doesn't really weaken your body...more like trains it to fight the disease.

I got the shot. I'm in a higher-risk category and I really don't want to get sick. Nobody takes care of me or lets me stay in bed if I have the flu. :|
