No you can still get in, only this time the email will not show up in your gmail account. What you have to do instead is go to the google plus website and sign in from there.

My friend could not sign in either. He was accepted but it said the website was over capacity and to try at some other time.

Also to the people using it, are your older posts past 12pm showing up with military hours?

Is there some special way to send an invite? I thought just adding someone to your circle then posting a few things in that circle would invite them.

1LIR had to reregister (1LIR1). It would not let me log in because I know longer have the internet provider and forgot to change the addy. DUH on me!!

I had an invite but didn't know what the dang thing was since I get so much trash from Google so I deleted it without looking. 🙁 Now I feel like a dang butt-wipe! Will email Google and ask for another. (fingers are crossed).

Thanks to Alone. I got one and was able to sign up.
I noticed that I can't send out invites by myself. If I add a new email address to my circle and want to share something, the invites don't get sent out.
