Now that you brought God into this; man originally - according to the Bible - along with all the animals were vegetarian.

Guess I am screwed then :p Serously tho, I was unaware of that fact.

Before Adam eats fruit of knowledge...

Lion: Hello Zebra, how is your day?
Zebra: Fine thanks. How do you like your salad?
Lion: Oh it is very tasty, thank you.

After...
Zebra: Hello Lion, how is yo...
Lion: chomp chomp

The day the cow tells me it doesn't want to die is the day I will be disturbed. Till then, the freezer stays full.

I don't think about it. Meat tastes good and that's all I care about; ME, my enjoyment. If it was an animal (excluding humans of course), I'll probably eat it.

Fruitarians think so. They don't eat animal products, and they only eat parts of plants they can take without killing the plant. As such, they eat a lot of fruit, and therefore probably have bad teeth.

I used to be vegan. I got sick because it's expensive, and I couln't afford the food needed to sustain myself. I'm thinking about going back, now that I have a little more money.

If you worry about things like this though, you'll go mad. You can link any two things together.

Can you kindly point out where 'according to the bible' this is stated.

Not really disturbing but i see your point. It is kind of weird that we have to take life from other things in order to sustain ourselves especially since (obviously) life is held in such high reguard and we do so much to protect it yet take it away so easily and think nothing of it. It is neccessary but odd none the less :). Good post IMO Gopunk, if you take it seriously enough its a good question IMO once again.

Good morning. Gladly.

Genesis 1: 29-30 "To every wild beast of the earth . . . to everything moving upon the earth in which there is life . . . I have given all green vegetation for food."
