According to the modem manufacturer, the modem is capable of 100Mbps up and 50Mbps down (VDSL2).

As dave_the_nerd mentioned, QoS should help. Now we just need to see if the modem/router combo has QoS capabilities. If it doesn't, then it does support bridge mode, so you can add your own router with QoS capabilities.
I bought ASUS RT-AC51U, and I cannot connect it, idk why
Type: PPPoE
Type: Bridge Connection
Modulation Type: ADSL_2plus
I did the quick setup, said it's not connected, then i had to choose con type, I press pppoe and it said I need username nad pw from ISP, I contacted my ISP tcom, nub said "we dont recommend any other hardware than theirs" "if any prob with their hardware to go to ww..." I open 2 forum posts on croatian forums.
I connected my pc to LAN1 of new router, and WAN to WAN from routers.., the router.asus.com recognized the router and it failed at automatic setup

what do you mean? I have ZTE ZXDSL 931 VII which is a chinese garbage of router/modem combo provided by TCom in Croatia. Choosing the option Pppoe connection type on ASUS router it says that I need username and pw from ISP

I thought you commented like I shouldn't need that to connect it. Anyway, do they need to give me the info? Is that the only way?

Yes, they should have given that info to you when you signed up. You need login and pwd to connect.

If you are playing via wifi while your roommate is downloading over wifi then it's obvious the ping gets higher. If you use wired PCs than it could be helpful setting QoS and possibly limit his Speed would do the trick but more or less you won't get around it completely because it's the connection itself that does have this problem. Buying new router won't help you much either but for just how bad those shitty T-com routers are in general I would buy one just for the sake of having something else than T-com's garbage routers. Btw your modem credentials are printed on your contract.

I made it, first I inspected the page and it was written a value next to username, tcom made a troll value which was wrong haha, so I download the router backup file and decrypted it with a program and got the right one ;D
