Ok, so my dad decided to buy this freakin lawn mower
Link.

Pretty much, on the side you see a pipe that goes to the bag. Well, that pipe clogs LIKE CRAAAZZZYYYY... Everytime my family cuts the lawn, its a freakin hassle because it clogs, and that the grass is always wet. So... are there any good tips for mowing the lawn next time?

Uhhm....wet grass = clogs. Mow it when it's dry.

Or here's a tip. Go buy some diesel fuel...pour it all over the area you want to cut and then toss a match.

Ze grass is always wet.
Even in summer.
There's always moisture in the grass.

don't bag it, sharpen your blade, problem = solved.

I never understood why people bag anyway, if you mow often enough the yard is healthier when you let it re-fertilize itself.

Cut on a higher setting.
Cut more often.
Cut when it's not as wet.

For example, cutting it when there is still dew on the ground in the morning will clog your mower more often as opposed to cutting it later in the day when there is far less moisture.

Also, how often do you cut? If you're not cutting at least once a week when the grass is growing well, then you need to cut more often.

You're in Seattle, so that's not far from me. Your grass shouldn't be growing all that much now. Do a good number on it to get it fairly short right now, and then put 'er to rest for the winter.

Cut more often.
Raise the blade level.
Open the side discharge (the most effective)

Dude, that is a mulching mower. Use the mulcher and you won't need to bag.

We used to have that same mower. It was awesome.

Set the speed higher, and move slower. That'll decrease the amount of cut grass going through the tube.

You are in Seattle, what do you expect? Wet grass is going to clog just about any lawn mower. Rip it out and replace it with either astroturf or little pebbles.....problem solved.

raking leaves, bagging grass...I laugh at the dumb asses that do this. Free fertilizer, just mow with a mulching blade

Are pure crap. Bought a set for my 36" Exmark. Took them off after a month because the cut quality was so bad. Neighbor bought a set for his commercial Toro, same problem.

raise the ride height

cut once

lower ride height and quickly skim round again....ive timed it on my lawn and its actually quicker than just going straight for the low cut.

2nd time round it easy, its been cut down to size by a slighty higer cut, then you litterally can run round your lawn with the lawn mower to finish it off. you may have to empty 1 or 2 times if that
