LOL, we just hired a 60+ year old here for a highly compensated position. We interviewed 23 people, most of whom were in their 20s and 30s. I wonder why we hired the old guy :hmm:
Yeah, after my uncle got laid off (not sure exactly what he did, something to do with commercial real estate loans and the EVIL FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR) for being old and overpaid, he found a new, better paying job shepherding around 20- and 30-somethings with little to no experience.
Although he was only in his late 50s at the time, so not a direct comparison.
