i would totally be self employed except that i would not be able to get health insurance for any less than like 15$k

What type of gold plated plan are you looking at that is $1200/month.

Young and single should be no more than half that amount. You also get to write off that amount against your taxable income.

I'm quite sure that you are still covered under your parents Health Insurance, no?
Or do you get a Government check & Medicaid?

Or do you get a Government check & Medicaid?
He can now be covered up to 24 by the parents

If you have a wife at home, don't
If you do not have more than *1* customer, don't

If you don't mind having a coffee cup at the IRS with your name on it AND they recognize you voice when you call ... go for it.

I used to have an S-corp, was making a ton of money, but it was not worth the loss of work/life balance and ended up dissolving it.
