I call them straddle trucks. that was the vernacular for their smaller predecessors in the apple warehouse districts where I grew up.

I saw those things zipping around the warehouse districts when I was riding my bike, they kinda scared the crap out of you. You were never sure if the operator saw you from 14 feet up. They had ginourmously long chain drives down the side, they really did "zip around". Think of the sounds the old carnival rides make.Awesome!
