So what does rich/lean mean on the fuel? Also whats the biggest gear called thats attached to the rear? The gear that the motor turns? Heres a pic.

R/C

buy one and learn. It is the only way. You know back in the day's before the internet people took the time to actually learn a hobby. 🙂

anyway....rich/lean is the ration of fuel to air. rich = more fuel than ideal, lean = less fuel than ideal. lean = runs faster/more powerful but hotter (bigger explosion = more heat = more force on the piston)

it'll take you a while to get the hang of it but it is well worth the effort.

i think batteries on the electric cars last about 30 minutes, i am not sure. i know a tank of gas last's 15 minutes on the nitro ones. MIKE
Uh... no.

If you actually race, then the time varies. On electrics, anywhere from 4.30 -7 mins; on nitros, anywhere from 5- 10 mins.

yeah thats right, if you run a super fast motor low-turn you'll suck down batteries pretty fast. a 5 minute race you don't want your battery to last much longer than that, cuz you could have gone faster. just bouncing around the neighborhood on a 16 turn machine wound motor you can easily last 15 minutes on a high capacity set, tho
