And the federal government has said it will not preempt the Washington and Colorado state laws. So, in those 2 states, it is, for all intensive 🙂 purposes, legal.

What I find interesting is that all alcohol, which IS legal everywhere, is prohibited at the festival.

That's because alcohol seems to turn a good percentage of people into assholes. 🙁

I grew up in/around Spokane. "Back in the day," there were 3-7 day "rock festivals" that went late into the night. Kind of like a "woodstock lite" thing. You could get a buzz just driving by the places they were held...so, while it's probably a fun thing to attend... I seriously doubt it will be "the biggest two-day music, comedy, and weed smoking festival in Spokane, WA." (although it might be the first one that's not crawling with narcs and uniformed cops...looking to bust hippies who are smoking the evil weed.) 😛

Don't know anything about that...I left the first time right after Mt. St. Helens in 1980...then the last time in 1987. Colville was just a small hick logging town the last time I was there. (mid-70's?)

It's fully legal in two states, medically legal in 20+ states, and soon to be decriminalized in the nations capital, I don't think people care anymore.
