My good friend is creating a big music festival called Spokannabis Fest.

Basically, it's for people who want to support the legalization of marijuana and have a great time doing it. It's going to be the biggest two-day music, comedy, and weed smoking festival in Spokane, WA featuring name bands, celebrity cannabis judges, comedians, a wet t-shirt contest, a Lube Jelly wrestling competition, and dozens of vendors. There's a Cannabis Tournament with a $10,000 prize.

Anyways, I thought I'd let some of you guys know about it and enjoy yourselves.

Here's the website for more info: http://www.spokannabisfest.com/

several of those events have piqued my interest. And I wont say which. But I'd like a one-way ticket to WA please, just for one person.

I doubt you'll get many people to fess up about using as it's a no brainer for your employer or prospective employer to search your name and find posts on AT. Much like the practice many companies have of asking employees to give them you Facebook credentials.

I've ragged the NSA for there spying activities, but corporations are every bit as bad and much more likely to actually do something with your data.

So, smoke it up if you want, but don't expect admitting to it here is going to stay here...

Note to employers: I never touch the stuff. It's evil and will destroy your life and the lives of others.

Oh shit. Well in that light...

Drugs are bad. I have a Harvard MBA with a 4.0 GPA. I'm a Rhodes Scholar. And I won the Nobel Peace Prize. Hire me.

Yet again:

Talking about a substance that is illegal on the federal level: A-Ok.

Talking about poop/farts = Warning, Infraction, Lock.

Deuuuhhhh?

And I thought I was paranoid. I freely admit to it.

It will be legal country wide soon enough

You must be super high right now to be that paranoid

(looks at user name)

Oh well if you're dumb enough to use your real name all over the internet and dumb enough to have a facebook page and post it on there, I guess you have to concern yourself with such nonsense.

What I feel sorry for are lame people in the south, like in Texas specifically. Marijuana is infinitely less harmful to yourself and others in every conceivable way then alcohol and yet - oh no it's illegal better not do that.

Come on boys', lets get in our gas guzzling trucks and hit the drive-through liquor store and get hammered tonight. EWWWW DOGGIE!!!!!

Don't get busted with even a dime of grass in Texas or you serve more jail time then all the locals picked up for DUI's that night.

It's fully legal in two states, medically legal in 20+ states, and soon to be decriminalized in the nations capital, I don't think people care anymore.

About as anecdotal as my ride along where a couple of kids were busted with blunts. They weren't going to get jail time and the cops just broke them up and scattered them on the side of the road.

Yeah, if you're white. If you're a minority though, good luck.

That's brilliant.

On the one hand I'm glad that 2 states have volunteered to work out the hiccups in legalization. On the other hand it's going to give people from those states a foothold in what will be a large industry. People that have an existing, profitable marijuana related business are going to be able to have the experience and connections to franchise out into other states and be up and running more quickly and smoothly than local business that are just starting.

while true, it is still presently, FEDERALLY ILLEGAL

And the federal government has said it will not preempt the Washington and Colorado state laws. So, in those 2 states, it is, for all intensive :) purposes, legal.

What I find interesting is that all alcohol, which IS legal everywhere, is prohibited at the festival.
