Whatever the police are trying to accomplish, it has nothing to do with protecting and serving, unless they make more than 150k a year. I'm sick of it. My local cops are just pigs. The MA state police are bigger pigs.

I've been pulled over for not having a front license plate... but the registration is grandfathered so the front plate is not required. Once I explain this to the cop, and he understands. So once we've established the pull over has no grounds, he ASKS ME FOR PERMISSION TO SEARCH THE VEHICLE.

Right. And then, he gets all oinky and doughnut-y on me and gets all suspicious because I exercised my constitutional right. Then I have to wait for like 20 minutes so he can get the dogs to sniff my car. They are f*cking assholes. All of them. it's not the job that makes cops pigs. It's pigs that go out and want to be cops.

So I say again you piece of sh1t piggies, F*CK YOU, F*CK your parents, F*CK your little piglets, and F*CK anyone who looks like you, wants to be one of you, WAS one of you, or related to you.

As for those requirements to be a police officer, in my area, to qualify for almost any job one would be qualified for a cop. Those are LAX requisites.

Anyway...

A few people I know have gone on to be police officers. Thing is, the only people who hated the job, were the only ones with a shred of moral fiber or decency. This guy who used to beat his dog, his girlfriend, and his son, LOVED the job. I think the problem with the police is that it's attractive to the kind of people who make horrible cops. The people who want power are the ones who want to be a po. We need people who don't have this power lust to be cops. Yet, the people who don't want power that much aren't interested in law enforcement.

The police need to change their image, to attact people who aren't elitist pr*cks that only want to be superior to those around them.

Belive it or not, my problem with law enforcement isn't the police - it's the police officers. I hate each and everyone one of them individually. No stereotypes here, it just so happens that only complete d1cks become cops and stick with it.

Watch this video and wait until the middle where the music pauses and see what the cop does. Now, I'm not going to say that all cops would do this. I'll say that most probably want to but know better. 😉

i'm hoping to join the RCMP up here in Canada.

Canadian Citizen
19 years of age at entry into Depot (academy)
full driver's licence
Grade 12/high school diploma

thats it.

after you go through an interview, a background check, a polygraph, a physical performance test, and an aptitude test, you are sent to Depot, in sakatchewn.
there, you get spayed with pepper spray, tear gas, and tasers. you get the crap beat out of you by troopmates. you run. and run. and run. you are trained with shotguns, rifles, and handguns. you are trained in high speed vehicular maneuvers. you are trained in the law and your responsibility, etc. you learn to march.

after six months of hell, you get your badge, gun, and uniform. from there you are sent to a sort-of-random place for 6 months, to be trained by a senior officer. then you're a real cop.

now, i'm 18, not a citizen (landed immigrant) but the profession just calls to me...i want to make this a better place, and well, while earning tons of $$ is cool, at the end of my life, i want to have done something that i can be proud of.
