It has nothing to do with killing something..

I do have a problem with some people who go out and poach or just kill and animal ( deer ) and let it lie there..

If you are killing it for meat to eat, then there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with that.

I haven't hunted in nearly 10 years. Deer hunting is like a State religion in Michigan. People pull their kids out of school, small businesses close down during the week, carrots and beats and hunting supplies are sold everywhere. Hell, Doctors advertise 'Hunter's Special! Free Mossey Oak hand warmers with every office visit!'

Ok, well, its almost that bad. lol!

I've generally always been against killing animals, but.. thinking about it recently... the meat you buy in a store comes from a slaughtered animal anyway, so..

If I could stomach the cleaning part, I would totally be into it. I would love to get hundreds of pounds of high quality, free range, hormone free, virtually guarenteed healthy(due to natural selection) meat for virtually free. The money savings is only half of it.. the meat itself would be so much better for you, plus for me.. it would be a continuation of not supporting the mass meat industry. I already try not to by buying organic free range meat, but you can't do that all the time(fast food, etc).

You have to clean the animal very shortly after you kill it, right? I guess I could probably stomach it, but.... it would definately weird me out probably the first few times.

Maybe I could just find someone that could do that part to hunt with me. 😉
