Q. What did the big chimney say to the small chimney?
A. You're too young to smoke.

Smokes are $9-10/pack in the NYC area. I quit a year ago after smoking for 15 years.
I see lung cancer patients almost daily. Many of them go back to smoking even after having a section of their lung removed for lung cancer directly caused by smoking. Many of these people know they can greatly increase their 5 year survival rate by not smoking and they still smoke. I think the most was like 6 packs per day on a 100 pound woman. Her lungs were probably like charcoal.
oh and p.s. Even after a year not smoking, seeing hundreds of lung cancer surgeries, seeing people suffer and die from smoking, I still crave a cigarette. Anyone who thinks it's not a serious problem is diluting themselves.

It probably sounds bad, but I enjoy smoking.
I tried quitting a couple times, but in the end, it was something I enjoy doing.
There's nothing quite like sitting out on the veranda on a nice sunny morning with a big cup of coffee and have a smoke.

She literally chain smoked non stop all day. One cig like every 8 minutes. It boggles the mind. I thought it was a mistake on her chart. My (non biological) grandfather was close to that I think. He was retired and sat home in a cloud of smoke all day. He went through like 3 cartons a week which is a little over 4 ppd. He of course died to lung cancer. It's really amazing how the body can tolerate that punishment for so long. When we got some effects from his house, they were so covered in tar that it looked like someone poured maple syrup over everything and let it dry out.Originally posted by: DnetMHZ

Holy crap, did she do anything else during the day?
