Terrible. Lots of talk, 10 seconds of lop-sided action. Anyone tuning in to this as their first taste of MMA will be turned off.

they should've done a mma special beforehand, then just have the fights

like ufc does

they kinda did. they had like a 20 minute intro. first fight was not until the show was half an hour into it.


only figh ti really want to see is the Kimbo one. looking to see him get his ass knocked out LOL.


both kimbo and Brock lesner gain a lot of hype. neither deserve it yet.

Introducing fighters is pretty futile if they're not in the ring long enough to show anything. This is their big shot to gain an audience, if this is the best card they could put on they're doomed. You never get a 2nd chance to make a first impression.

Never seen a doc stoppage before? That chicks face was messed up and her eye was almost swollen shut. Sure she probably could have continued but the docs(and probably CBS) don't need someone getting seriously hurt the first time on air.

I probably would have watched this, but my assbackwards local affiliate overrode CBS for a telethon. One company runs both the CBS and NBC affiliates here, so they're running the national telethon feed over top of NBC and the local feed over CBS.
