Too many times, the fighter gets knocked down or gets some harmless cut, and the match is called. Certainly leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I can't say this always applies to MMA, as I haven't been really following it that much, and I only catch a couple of matches every month or two, but I haven't seen very many true KO's, just mostly TKO's.

Eh whatever, I'm rambling on at this point, maybe someone out there understands what I'm saying.

only this elite crap. Most real MMA companies are far more refined with experienced fighters and refs. This was a publicity stunt and I think there is going to be a big backlash, prob staged, about it soon. Some good fights got called it was BS

yeah, too many early stoppages tonight... Kimbo will get pwned by a good heavyweight, just a matter of time.

I was at the fight, and kimbo looked real bad, I didn't think he was going to make it. when he was getting elbows to the head I thought they were gonna stop it since he couldn't do anything at all, luckily the round was almost over. He really needs to work on his ground game and get some more stamina, but I think this fight is going to help him since it shows him he isn't untouchable and he can't just cruise through anyone.

I was really surprised how well thompson fought, but i'm confused. This guy was supposed to have a glass jaw but he took some serious hits from kimbo, probably some of the better punches kimbo has landed in all his mma fights.

and to all the people saying kimbo would get killed by the top heavyweight guys, OF COURSE HE WOULD. he's had 3 fucking fights. if someone on AT decided to take up mma, would you expect them to fight the best guy out there? of course not. no one really believes kimbo is the best, but he makes money because he draws a good crowd.

Lots of vids of the fight on youtube now. The stoppage was ridiculous, the guy even slapped the ref for doing it lol.
