Never got into CSI. I'm into the Crossing Jordan and the L&O series though. Especially SVU.

The original is OK, the Miami one just plain sucks. Davis Caruso is such an enormous prick that has no acting ability.

I like the way he acts like a prick. That's part of the entertainment value :D

The original yes, Miami has grown on me, I didn't like it at first. But lately I have begun to like Miami, as for NY I can't say I can never watch it as it conflicts with other recordings :)

I watch all of them...

I also watch house, 24, The O.C., American Choppers, American Hot Rod, Mythbusters, Law & Order SVU, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Family Guy, Desperate Housewives...

I know I'm forgetting some... needless to say I spend a lot of time watching TV... (thank goodness I have TiVo though)

Great stuff. I was with CSI since the beginning. Hooked since day one, however I do not think that this season is as great as past ones. Perhaps being a fan of the show for so long put me in the rut of one team working together not two teams sometimes working on overlapping cases. It seems the new format made the characters lose their chemistry and the cases seem weaker. But I still watch it every week and the season finale sounds fantastic, I have read the spoilers on it. I also have gotten more into CSI Miami this season as H seems to not be such a boss and more of team member. Before the show seemed to revolve around him and he seemed cocky and cold. He has much more human qualities now. Plus the first few CSI Miami eps. with Kim Delaney were okay, but the show was much better without her. I miss Speed too, Wolf is okay, but Speed seemed to fit the bill better. But yes, I am hooked too.

CSI. Once in a while I'll watch CSI:Miami. I've never watched the New York version.

Hell no. I have a friend who is a forensics/ballistics expert for the NC State Beareu of Investigation. She says that the show is totally unrealistic in its methodology, presentation, techniques ued and they don't go out into the field looking all purdy with short skirts on and perfect makeup.

The characters in CSI are almost always wearing some sort of uniform when in the field.

As for realism...it's television. Aren't you one of our resident corps of 24 junkies? Because if you are, don't even try to complain about a show being unrealistic.
