Particularly if you work out. I get periodic fasciculations in different muscles and right now I've had it in my right shoulder for about two days.

Edit - Is there anyway to stop them?

How often do you work out?

Do you stretch?

Depending on how you answer those questions it could be the reason for your muscle twitches..

I get them quite often. Always in different places too. Sometimes they last hours, I'd like to know if there's an explanation for that.

yes.

I dont work out as much as I should. but after a few days of working out, the muscles i worked on like to twitch. its funny at times, annoying at others.

It's just ur body saying, hello, you have these muscles that you just discovered, use them please. :D

Quite possible that insufficient potassium is the problem. Try including more in your diet.

I think they're caused by work stress and/or anxiety, but I'm not sure why they happen randomly and not all the time if that's the case.

I know from my personal experience that they tend to happen to me when i'm more exhausted.

More sleep FTW!
