THIS helped me when i built my first ever computer, without any help. it was just that, anandtech's hardware forum, and a little bit of tomshardware.com

Do people even take a+ certification seriously anymore? I was under the impression that the market is filled with paper mcses and the like
 
My Company takes the Certifications seriously. they recognize that while a lot of people just get the paper, some people can actually put that paper to practical use.
