I just got back from LA. One of the highlights of the trip was Nate & Al's deli in Beverly Hills. It's very reasonable, has a great menu (over 70 sandwiches), and you can spot celebrities. It's on Beverly Blvd. near Rodeo Dr (off Dayton, I think). They have free valet parking right in front. Check it out if you have a chance. We went twice for lunch during our 3 day stay.

Dangit, you know what, Harvey? I *still* haven't gone to that place.

I went with my g/f at the time and she didnt like anything on the menu so we left.. and my current g/f is in Colorado so she only gets out here once every two months. I'll definitely have to give it a try next time.

Dude, the Valley doesn't count. Anyone with half a brain is going to avoid NoHo/Valley area like the plague. The drive there sucks any time of day.

I like Phillipes about a 10 minute drive from Hollywood.
Or you could drive down to Westwood grab a bite from the many restaraunts there (Jerry's Famous Deli's Chicken Noodle soup is amazing), catch a movie, then end your day with a diddy reese ice cream sandwich. Oh man.

but if there's a Spaghetti Factory that way it's a great spot. The food is tasty and it's not expensive at all. But, I read an article on that place, the avarage dish costs them like 40 cents to make, so it's the most profitable restruant in So Cal. All I know if they have delicious bread and pretty good meatballs.
