But it's much more fun to go late at night and hope you don't get murdered in the process

This man speaks the truth.....the 2 am garbage plate is a wonderful experience that just gets better with the fear of being mugged or shot afterwards.
I second the recommendation for Dinosaur BBQ.....you should definitely eat there if you have the chance. DiBellas (subs), Mario's (Italian), DaVinci's (Italian), Rick's Prime Rib House (Steak), and Pizza Cafe (Pizza) are also good places to eat. I haven't eaten at either Tastings or Aladdins, but I've heard that they are very good as well.

There used to be a tavern called Laws that had the best seafood chowder I've ever tasted. Not sure if it's still there or not though.

Yep. Probably should have thought about that before I posted. I was just listing some of the good restaurants I can remember eating at while I was there.

By yourface, I'm guessing the meal wasn't worth it? I've had several meals in that range, or even more, that were worth every penny spent. If you look at dinner as just go in, eat, and leave, all within 30 minutes or so, it's hard to justify such a price. But, when dinner lasts for a couple hours, it's wonderful.
