Any Ford F150 Owners Here?

I have a 94 Explorer, it's pretty damn reliable, just rusty as balls.

As for Toby Keith, I hate country

98 F-150 Ex Cab 4x4. I do like it although I'm thinking it's time for a new truck. It's been super dependable (knock on wood), though. It wheels pretty good for a stock full size too. Two thumbs up overall.

Frankly, I've leased two of them, a 1997, and a 2000. I leased both of them for 36
months. Since I kept the mileage down, and had an oil change program, I had no complaints. Neither broke down, ever, and both performed as advertised.

No problems with either of my F-150's

98 F150 V6 5-spd. Other than replacing the front brakes, it's been good to me for 2 years. Now I'm just worrying about the engine dieing on me.

I have had a F150 and a F250. they were great. teh F250 i beat the crap out of. both were great trucks. sold them when i moved off the farm. didnt think i would need them anymore. that was a mistake.

heck i been thinking of getting another F150. maybe a 2004-2005

05 SuperCrew Lariat
Love it and have about 60,000 miles on it and haven't had one problem with it. This is my 2nd F150 and 3rd Ford and I will always buy a Ford!

I had a 1987 Ford 250 with a 460 big block I used to pull my 5th wheel trailer with back in FL. What a beast that thing was. I dont particularly like Ford products unless it is a truck and man that 460 had some power and get up and go. Used to piss off my boss when we had to pull our trailer to a new site and I would smoke his ass passing him up on any hill or from a dead stop and he owned a new trailer and new Dodge Ram PU of that year with the turbo 6 Diesel. My sh!t kicking beater I paid 100x less then he did had much more power 😀
Good time good times till it cought fire 😱

My dad has an '02 XLT SuperCab 2wd (4.6L, auto) that he hasn't had any problems with. I have an '02 F250 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 (V10, auto) with almost 90K miles on it and nothing done to it but routine maintenance.

Ford...Quality is job one.

Putting out the fire is job two.

I have a '97 F-150 Lariat. Regular cab, short bed, step side. Pic I got it used and the guy before me made a lot of changes to it but it's been an incredible truck. I'd definitely get another one.

Edit: I fail at linking and forgot to add my commentary. 😱

My brother in law just bought a new F-150 last week. Ford forgot to put tire pressure sensors in all four tires. LOL.

I've owned two, a 1991 (best truck I ever owned) that I had from 1991 through 1997 and I had a 1960 F100 that I bought and restored in 1993. Bought it for $100 and sold it for $1500. Yeah, they weren't highly desirable but I had fun fixing it up and made some money on it.

I bought one few years back but it decided it wanted to burn itself to the ground one days on the way home from work so I stopped buying fords as I prefer to live and not drive a flaming hazzard.....

Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

yes since it happened to you it will happen to all.

there is a reason F150 has been the top rated truck (until recently). they are dependable and strong. I would not hesitate to buy another one. though the new ridgeline looks nice.
