We had perfect weather this weekend. It cooled down just a bit, slight breeze, flat seas. Rare occasion for this late in the year.

was in san diego last week and my buddy and i went out on a boat with his friend and we only caught 2 fish (sea bass and albacore, he has the pics on his phone i don't have them) but we also did some surf fishing one morning at 6am before he had to go to work. we caught a croaker, 5 baby leopard sharks, and a handful of perch.

i think leopard sharks are my new favorite shark. they are simply breathtaking to look at. went to the aquarium and saw a big one there as well, about 5 feet. simply amazing to look at.

We went fishing on the Queets river in Olympic National Park the last two weekends.

That was the first weekend. last Saturday we did not do as well, only two silvers for a day of fishing. The salmon are just about done, but steelhead are coming in up by Forks. They will be in the Queets in January.
