Have not kept up, did Rivers sign with the Chargers yet?

I thought the Chargers said they would offer less and less everyday he did not sign? Sounds like the last I heard Rivers would play for another leauge and sit out a year of the NFL?

he's signed and playing next game

$50 mill deal was ironed out this past weekend, he showed up for team practice this past monday. and from my understanding, he did okay. in fact, i heard he didnt look too sharp. but he'll have the test tonight, i hear he's going to play the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

life long charger fan in NY. Mike Williams will be a Charger next year. They have 2 1st round picks and they will most likely be both in the top 10 if not the top 5.

Rivers will play the 2nd quarter and into the third.

Dont forget, if Deion Sanders wants to come back to the NFL, the Chargers own his rights. Therefore Baltimore would have to compensate them to sign him.

LOL 16-0 season. I remember a few years back when the chargers ALMOST went 0-16

seriously... 16-0 season made me chuckle! Thats like "Let's go Polish Army, win that war!"

Hey, watch the Polish Army jokes. Don't they have one of the most elite group of spec op teams in the world? And they're still in Iraq with us.

In any case, there is no way the Charges beat the Broncos this year. so, right there you have 2 losses.

Schottenheimer saying a rookie did ok in practice is quite an accomplishment.

The only way that would happen would be if the NFLPA went on strike and replacement players took the field.

that is true. but the local word around here and from the sports anchors was that he started off shaky, probably a little rust, because he was overthrowing his receivers. they said by the afternoon though he was connecting with some tough passes. guess we will see tonight if he's shook it all off.

Luckily Schottenheimer has a great history in developing young passers to go along with his rich legacy in the postseason.

😛

haha.. 16-0.. is this a joke of some sort??

Okay, maybe I was being a bit overzealous. Realistically....12-4. Wildcard spot. Losing in first or 2nd round of playoffs.

I'm a closet Charger fan. I like the uniforms, and when I was growing up, they were a great offensive team.

I like the throwback powder blue uniforms. Their current ones don't do much for me at all.

Whoops

It was pretty much over by halftime. The offensive line's matador defense apparently did not work too well.

GO NINERS!!

as long as we have a better record than Chargers or Arizona, I'm happy!

i think ppl are gonna under estimate us
the D should be good
and the O should be fine with Barlow running the ball
im hopeful for a 8-8 season and maybe even a chance at the playoffs

if not i rather them play very bad and get a high pick next year 🙂

Still, their coach is Dennis Erickson.
