Will Trump congratulate Putin on his overwhelming victory by midnight Eastern time 3-30-2018

If Trump congradulates Putin during some kind of face to face diplomacy meeting it’s a push nobody wins, nobody looses.



Trump is pretty ballsy and gives no fucks but on this I think he’d like to congratulate Putin but he won’t
My bet is no

Losers lose. The loser loses. I agree that he would like to congratulate him. I have no idea if his handlers will be able to prevent it so I will abstain from predicting.
 
I expect there will be congratulations given and that the fact that they were given will be hidden, then leaked to the media by various Trumpeters

This case wouldn't count, unless it was recorded or some sort of verifiable email/letter that was absolutely from Trump and not some kind of diplomacy thing.
People are saying doesn't count.

Thats why I think there is a chance Trump will say something. Trump really wants to be Putin's friend. Everyone I've heard interviewed says Trump is a very engaging and complimentary guy in person. I question his sincerity, and motivations for being kind but he does it.
 
Trump will probably send Putin a box of congratulatory Trump Steaks...

My guess would be Putin thinks (knows?) Trump is an absolute joke and a farce of a world leader and generally wants no association with him except for when it would benefit Russia (or Putin himself) directly.

Ignore all the possible "collusion" discussions for a minute and anyone can see that Putin is a much more intelligent and more apt chess player than Trump.

Perhaps you’re confusing me with another poster as I’ve never suppported Trump and think he’s a clown. I’m on record here calling him the worst candidate in the 2016 election and probably forever. Admittedly I wasn’t a Hillary fan either but that’s a problem with her as a candidate. My support is going to normally go to whoever has positions that are socially liberal and economically conservative (in the GHWB sense).
