Any ATOT'ers with a good cam and a good telescope??

It kills me, I own a real nice 8" Newtonian and a decent 35 mm, figures that the scope is in the shop for a new mirror and alignment :(

Although its close even a good telescope wont see it that much bigger.

Used my dad's over the weekend.. real big Mead with computer contolled auto tracking and big lens... it's still just a dot but we could see the lower polar ice cap and some black surface markings. If you want a really good picture you will have to go to an observatory.

I dont have a decent camera, but my brother has a 16" telescope he build himself. Including the lenses/mirrors btw, took him ages to polish those.
