When I was 16, I had a 2000 Mustang GT. I paid around 150 a month, but I was insured on another vehicle. I would assume you are on your parent's policy right? Why not be insured on one of their vehicles instead of the Mustang?

Honestly, having had one at 16 I wholeheartedly agree. I had one minor wreck, but it was MY fault. I was driving about 30 on the interstate in a thunderstorm and hydroplaned. It was because the tires were so slick(Nitto Drag Radials).

You can't own someone when it's your father's car dimwit and I never posted in your orginal thread. You said "our" car, but you aren't actually in possession of the car.
