It opens your mind to things you would never think of otherwise.
I'm trying to figure out if you're serious. If you are, could you gimme an example of a brilliant idea marijuana gave you? K, I came across a little sarcastic, but I really am curious if it gives you ideas as I was under the impression that it just makes you hungry and trippy-weird colors go flying around you.

uhhhh... no

it doesnt make you hungry that i can tell and there are no psychadelic crazy colors.

So, what's your point?

I have never really understood why people use marijuana or alcohol. Why would you want to use something that alters your mental state of mind, even if it does "feel" good?

It's interesting. It opens your mind to things you would never think of otherwise. Instead of asking why, why don't you try and find out? If you don't try it, no one can explain it to you in a way that you will truly understand. If you refuse to try it... well then, what's the point of asking, if you're close minded anyways?

That's actually false: drugs are a shortcut. there's nothing that drugs do that you can't do all by yourself in a safe manner with a little concentration. Not really releveant, though, do what you want, I don't give a sh!t.

Hit me while driving high or drunk and I'll tear your throat out through your window, though.

im still waiting for the "Alcohol, it's worse than we all thought" commercials.

marijuana is a scapegoat.
alcohol & tobacco are the real killers.

Transition say: Man who walk through airport gates sideways going to Bangcock.

Confucious say: "Man who go to bed with itchy bum wake up with smelly thumb."

😀

Confucious say: "Man who crash plane in strawberry field wake up in big jam."

You could say the same thing about being a serial killer:
As a serial killer you mind is open and instead of asking why shouldn't i kill people you try it. And according to you everyone should try it to understand it. And if you refuse to try it your closed minded.

Hey don't hate me I just used your argument/logic to explain another illegal act. Do you know see how stupid your argument is?

Yeah really. The last thing I'd want is to lose control of my mind. It can already be screwed up by chemicals that it produces by itself!

I used to believe stoners were just kids in high school too stupid enough to understand why drugs were bad for you. Then I graduated and saw true examples of the moronic narcotic masses, who flock to the idea that drugs are a form of enlightenment.

Our Morgues and Emergency Rooms fill daily with the enlightened. Dont believe me? Go down to your local hospital and see for yourself.

Actually the high estimate for drug related deaths per year in the USA has been put at below 15,000, however this can in no way indicate the long term after effects of drugs because these numbers are only related to drug overdoses.

What was the number for smoking? 400,000?

JEEZ, and the drug related deaths are the one that are going to jump out at you?

What do you do with weed? You SMOKE it, and you say most deaths are from smoking rather than drugs? Is that only normal smoking, or general smoking including weed?
(I put weed because I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered with the "proper" term)

Marijuana is about as bad for you as a normal cigarrette (tar wise). It's bad for your lungs, no matter what or how much you smoke. SMOKING IS BAD FOR YOU, no matter what you're smoking. It's bad. People don't really seem to understand that putting burned particles in your lungs is detrimental to your health, no matter what you're burning.
