That's odd. Everything I have read says that the retail crime wave in San Francisco and other places in CA came about because the CA voters approved the CA ballot referendum Proposition 47 at the end of 2014. No mention at all of Biden.

You do have a point. Biden wasn't directly involved in the disastrous decision that led to the the extreme retail theft crime wave that arose from said ballot initiative. But if he really cared he would have put pressure on CA to change the law and restore law and order. He could have done so by suggesting to Congress that they should withhold federal highway funds until they clean up their act. Because Biden failed to do anything I assigned him some blame.

Even London Breed (a fond supporter of ultra liberal policy) has had enough with the crime wave:

You cant just walk into a store and do whatever the buck you want and not pay for anything. Society will fall apart and we will become like some South American dictatorship everyone is trying to flee (ie Venezuela). Or even worse, Burkina Faso where they cannot even keep a stable government and innocent citizens are randomly conscripted to take up arms against rebellious factions to defend whatever military strongman is in power this week.

This is why I say whoever winds up leading America next year must not be light on crime. We need to be tough on crime and rehabilitate offenders so they can them become contributing members of society.
