Maybe a conviction and having to register as a sex offender will stop him.

What a mess, the guy had the world by the tail, and repeatedly blew it.

I know it's subjective, but I think Huma is hot.

Do you have some concern that compulsion to send photos of your junk to people is somehow related to shooting up civilians?
I think people talk a big game about mental illness when it suits their agenda.

Trump is calling for Hillary to return Weiner's $550 political donation, which is curiously close to the cost of a new 4.7" iPhone 7. :screamcat:

Hopefully he doesn't get early release.

In the federal system convicts must serve at least 80% of their sentence, iirc. That would be 16.8 months.

Didn't even get to grab her by the pussy, either...

He definitely has problems, but experience has shown that sex offenders (especially child molesters) are probably the hardest problem to cure. Incarceration may be the best for society.

Damn though, Weiner may set a record for the biggest drop for the littlest "gain" ever. He apparently never even touched anyone. If he had kept his nose clean he could have easily been one of the most powerful men in the USA.

Did they drag him off after sentencing like the average Joe or does he get the special treatment certain people get that lets them show up at the place of their incarceration by a certain date? I'm betting the latter.

Unless the person is already in prison (not jail) serving a sentence for another crime at the time of sentencing, it is extremely unusual to "drag" them off immediately to prison. They give nearly everyone, and certainly the average Joe, a minimum of a brief period of time to wind up their affairs and for the prison officials to decide where to send you. Usually a couple of weeks at least. And if the case is under appeal almost always the incarceration is suspended until the appeal is up.

Given the fact he got 21 months it can't be said that he was given any special celebrity status.

Castration might be even better.

Balls and cock, no more testosterone for those retards.

I'm in favour for this, for all rapists. Or make it a choice, your cock and balls or your life. Provide them with some propofol and have them think it over, those that are alive after two weeks gets sedated and operated.

No testosterone, no problem and as always, if you commit a felony, they take away your weapon of choice. In this case, your cock.

It already ruined his career (twice!) and he was incredibly lucky it hadn't ruined his marriage completely. Even after it's cost him so much he still can't stop? That's some mental issues right there.

Hows that a mental issue? As far as I know our human brains are hardwired to procreate with every female we come across. Granted I don't generally send dick pics even to a girl I'm screwing, I don't think its a mental health problem more like every mans problem. My last girls biggest problem was me checking out other girls when I was with her in public. It didn't help my response was something along the lines of you see the ass on that thing I can't help it.

Have to partially agree here since science essentially proves it. It's our SOCIETY and CULTURE that fires back and says "suppress those natural biological feelings, but you can magically release them at the stroke of midnight on her 16/17/18th birthday (depending on the state)". It's tough to FULLY take either side, in one state you would call someone vile and disgusting for hitting on a 17 year old, while in another state that is perfectly fine.

That said, my girl is pretty decent, she says I can feel free to check out other girls as long as you let her know so she can give her woman critical opinion of her as well lol.... Which is another part that comes hardwired with women... always wanting to criticize other women.

Do you grope women in public because your brain is hard-wired to procreate with every female? Do you molest kids or is your brain able to over-ride your DNA and control actions that would be deemed illegal? That's why it's a mental issue. Your brain *should* be the final arbiter of your actions.

He did he do all that too? I'd say its a mental issue then. The worst I ever did is rub the back of my hand across a girls ass in high school changing classes at one of the crowded intersections.

It's not always a mental issue. I've met some guys in my lifetime that made the mistake of going after girls who were under 18, and they paid dearly for it. They lost everything in the process, but they took responsibility for their actions and moved on. In a severe case of workplace injustice, I actually had a guy under me at work who apparently had a history of that (he and his gf were making videos or something, which was even extra dumb). He was one of the best workers I had ever had though, but some girls at work found out he had money and started doing some digging on Google. They discovered his past, complained to HR that they felt unsafe, and they terminated him. I was so angry.

There are legitimate cases where it's a mental health issue, and we have to protect society from that. But maybe it's just my own experience, but all the guys that I've met that have a history of that were just dudes being really, really, really dumb dudes and learned their lesson the hardest way possible.

Shooting a bottle rocket out of your ass is really really dumb. I think sex crimes goes beyond that. Knowingly sending out unsolicited dick pics or sexting with a minor is not just ordinary dumb, it's not a failure to think things through and grasp the possible consequences. And it's not even an ordinary crime like robbing a gas station or slinging rock where the risk is accepted because of the possible financial reward. There is some sort of major malfunction happening when a person commits a sex crime like any sort of inappropriate contact with a minor or a woman that says no. They know it's a crime, they know there's no upside, they know it's just a matter of time until they get caught and they know society has very little patience for that sort of action. So deep down inside a guy like that knows the shit is going to hit the fan and they still can't/won't stop. It's naive to call that merely a guy being stupid. That's a guy with faulty wiring, there's something wrong with him.

Well presumably my brain is hardwired similarly to Anthony Weiner's and I haven't destroyed my career twice by sexting randos or destroyed my marriage by sexting a 15 year old. When people are unable to change their behavior despite extreme negative consequences both personally and professionally that to me (as a total non-mental health expert) says there's some sort of compulsion there he's having difficulty controlling to an extent that other people do not.
