More so it was build with consoles in mind, so modern gaming desktops will do fine.Official PC specs have been released, and they're pretty mild:
Makes me ponder if there's something to these optimization claims, and or lack thereof
I played the alpha and I thought it looked decent, played well enough while the server wasn't crashing or kicking you out. It gave me a different type of feel to it. Maybe like destiny but with an Ironman feel to it. I don't know I don't do well with these type of games because in the end it always requires a team to play and random people online usually don't do teamwork. While I have no interest in Anthem, I do have an interest in Bioware continuing to shamble forward so that one day we might get a new Dragon age or Jade empire.
The general sentiment out in the world is that if Anthem flops, EA will shutter Bioware.
Not getting the sense that there is much hype or excitement surrounding Anthem, but for those of you that have played it or follow it on Reddit or something, what feel are you getting for the excitement surrounding the game?
This thread isn't exactly the liveliest spot on AT...

But then the beta came out and I didn't get to play that but from what I saw in the reviews and playthroughs of the beta, it seems like it was not optimized any better and also looked a bit worse than the alpha.
If I had a team too I would probably play it because I enjoyed it a lot. I think I'll get it once it comes out and I get to see how the reviews are. I thought the alpha looked very good at ultrawide 1440p and I had it maxed out, it performed fine. I'm guessing it would be more popular on consoles.Yea, the Alpha was better than the Beta, just walking through the marketplace saw dips below 20fps in the Beta while solidly over 60fps in the Alpha. I will be playing with my brothers so we have a ready made team, even if I am the slow old guy of the lot.
Game me a tiny bit of nostalgia for Tribes, my fav game of all time. The jet pack feel of it all.
Feels more like Destiny 2 w/ jet packs instead of sparrows and better toolkit customization.
lol and how long did that last us Nurtured... i think i only got to place with you a couple of times, which is a lot less then what i played with you on the division and even that couldnt keep both you and me.
Yea that was my impression when playing the alpha. It looked great and seemed really interesting and new at first but I soon realized it is going to get repetive and you would need a team to play eventually. The game sucks. Pure and simple. Should be avoided like a plague until they start selling it for $10-20. It basically more of the same crap. Just like Destiny 2.
All flash, no substance. It looks beautiful, but lacking in story, game-play, and just about everything else. also, it is not made for solo players.
