Rofl, dude, have you looked at my pics yet? If you did, you noticed I don't use all the fan slots. I grew tired of my "wind" tunnel cases so I designed Blue Fantasy for efficency. I have the twin Panflos hooked up to a baybus in the front. When im surfing and what not, I keep them at low speed, very quiet. At high speed, its louder but nothing I can hear over my speaker or headphones.
I did away with the dual exhaust as it was not needed and lessens the clutter in the case. Below the Video card you can see I installed a backplate from an old soundcard. This enables the bottom intake to blow cool air at the video card and push the warm air around the card out of the case. The top intake provides cool air for the cpu, but also at the same time, it pushes the warm air out passivly through the back of the case. Whatever heat is left is sucked up via the PSU and the blowhole on top is run thermally controlled by the Antec PSU. Temps in the case stay within 2c of eachother. I have temp probe on the bottom, CPU, and to of the case as well as probe outside hooked up to the Digidoc 5 so I know temps at all times. Im currently running my 2.8 at 3.24 atm and currently testing the temps. Im planning to block the lower exhaust vent to prevent cool air excaping to soon out of the case. Im like efficency alot in my cases.
