Are they reinstating the orders if you call? What number are you using and how are your approaching it with the phone rep? I really need this case for my second system waiting to get built. Any help is appreciated.

Would not reinstate my order. Told me the new stock is from a new supplier so they have to charge the higher price. I said so what, thats your problem if your using a new supplier at a higher price. So off to resellerratings.com and bizrate.com and anyone else I can think of to tarnish are EX good deal site. grrrr.:|

I ordered my case on the 5th, called onvia on the 9th and the csr said that my order may be cancelled. I was about to give them a bad rating with the BBB and Bizrate, so I decided to call them back on the 10th. I talked with one of thier csr's again, this guy was totally nice, he found a case for me and sent it out right away at the price of $49.99 with no charge for shipping or tax. I guess it pay's off to be a little pushy with these guy's to get what you want.

I ordered one on the 6th. Came home today had a note on my door from UPS saying that they tried to deliver, but, noone was here. Logged on the computer to check email and had the same message from Onvia saying my order was cancelled. Hopefully I get the case and I'll wait and see if they charge me or not.

YEAH...I'm a happy man...I received the "Cancelled" e-mail, but today my case showed up! great! They have yet to charge me, but seeing as how many people got cancelled and actually got their cases, they are only a bit behind on the paperwork....still it's good to get it...yippie;)

I got my cases yesterday. I'm quite happy with it. Very nice case. 6 cases? I guess at that price I might have considered it also if I had the use for them. :)

Well, I did get my case, but it seems that my PSU is dead. I use the paper clip trick and it just clicks. I am going to hook a MB up to it today and see if it will fire up, but I am not holding my breath.

Got mine today-for some reason nothing was ever posted on the UPS tracking page except the initial entry (which was dated 9 hours before I placed my order). Ordered on 1/5 3:30 Eastern time, arrived yesterday, apparently UPS from California.

I'm now 2 for 2 with Onvia.

When I called I was told my order was automatically canceled - yet the case was delivered yesterday!

Onvia is becoming notorious for the practice of "cancelling" uneconomic orders. No where else does a seller's breach for not delivering a product in a timely manner give the seller the right to rescind the contract. Now I don't want to go throught the whole Dartek thing again, but this time Onvia is definitely guilty of questionable at best tactics. I am certain that Onvia is in the habit of routinely breaching contracts, as they have done to many of you and to me. You all know as well as I that they are getting more cases. What they are really saying is "We don't want to sell any more at the price we bargained for. Pay us more and we'll glady send you a case." Instead of cries of lawsuit, however, I think I will contact the Federal Trade Commission and ask someone there about the legality of this practice. If it is legal, then it's legal... end of story. But if it's not, well that is quite a different matter.

Please fill me in on the paper clip trick, presumably to test a psu.
Guess I have been under a rock.
Ordered and received case, no problem.

Rosebud,

You are correct, tons of these were ordered. If people have to wait, they have nothing to really complain about. When Onvia cancels these orders, however, then they DO have something to complain about. An order is a contract. If all sellers were allowed to "cancel" (read breach) their contracts whenever they felt like it, our entire commerce system would be screwed up. If a company cannot do realtime inventory, then those companies should CONSPICUOUSLY state on a Page that YOU MUSt READ before completing an ORDER (and have it on your confirmation page/receipt as well) that:

ALL ORDERS ARE CONSIDERED OFFERS AND COMPANY'S ACCEPTANCE IS EXPRESSLY CONDITIONED ON THE ITEM'S BEING IN STOCK.

Without doing so or something similar, these companies have created a binding contract and continue to routinely breach whenever it is convenient. Before you harp about people to "stop crying", it's suckers like you that breed companies like them. (Note: if you were talking only about the people who will have to wait, then disregard last comment).

Help please. My case had been cancelled as well. I need to know which number you all called to get your order "reinstated" . The customer service number, or the regular sales number. The new sales people told me they could do it for $70.44 with free shipping. But I dont want to do that if A) a case is on the way, or B) if I can get the old price reinstated somehow.

HELP!

Just got mine today

One thing i like:

#1. Enlight's system on inserting 5 1/4 hardware is dumb. You have to add those brackets. With the antec, you dont. Just slide it in and tighten.

DorkBoy,
Please "Enlighten" us as to where we can find this "better" Enlight case with 300W Athlon approved PS for $49.99 shipped. Thanks a lot.

Not to say which one is better, but Enlight uses drive rails - which makes installing drives a ton easier, especially if you are in your case alot. IMO the enlight is better, but people are different.

An update.
I called CS and talked to Jennifer. She said she will give me the case at the initial price. However they aren't getting anymore until the 26th. She said only her and Linda will be left by then. These people will be out of a job soon so be nice to them.
good luck

My order was cancelled and I received their cancellation email. When I called the rep found one left at PA warehouse, shipped it on 01/12 for its original price, and is on the way, scheduled for UPS delivery today.
I guess I got lucky this time.

Rails make drive swapping very easy. I'm still waiting for the case that allows full access to the HD bays (regarding screws), once the mobo plate is installed. This seems so simple of a concept, but none of my 3 cases has holes in the mobo plat that allow you to do it.

Silly me! The Enlight case has a 3.5 drive cage whichs pops right out, making installation of 3.5 drives a breeze. Now, if they would only not rivot on the top of the case. I guess that's my only bug about the Enlight.
