It seems that everyone loves marijauna so much, and that no one thinks you can get addicted (or that its not very addictive), and that it doesnt harm you at all.
So i am wondering, what are the side affects, and why is it bad?
a lot of people in my family (not immediate) smoke weed and a lot of my friends do, and i have noticed that most all of them seem to be suffering because of it, but they think they are not.
so id like some info about why its bad so i can maybe give a good argument to stop. otherwise, they think they are scientists and know so much about it and act like its the best thing theyve ever done for themselves.
A computer forum on the internet is not the best place to find answers about weed. Here are a few very good places to start:

Well done! It's nice to see someone who doesn't argue something, but rather points the OP towards information on it!
I also agree with the statements that the smoke is bad for your lungs (but that's why you need a vaporizer

) and that it can lead to problems for some people.
Me, I'm an active, functional pothead. I smoke, go running, discing, fishing, climbing, kayaking, pretty much everything. Only a few times (mostly late at night) does smoking make me feel lethargic and lazy.
I stopped smoking for about eight months over last winter / spring, and when I started up, my grades didn't suffer at all.
I spent a month in Sydney taking history classes, and I drank and smoked very heavily, all day every day, and I still ended up leading all the study groups we had and answering everyone's questions about the materials we were covering.
In short: I am a functional pothead. I know people who aren't, who have pretty much ruined their lives, but none of them ruined their lives with weed, always something else.
