What doesn't make sense to me is that the White House is saying the operation lasted roughly 40 minutes and that OBL was supposedly killed in the last 10 minutes on the third floor after he "resisted" and reached for weapon nearby. OK, that means roughly 30 minutes had passed before the Seal team found OBL. But the White house said OBL reached for a weapon. It doesn't make sense that OBL was killed after reaching for a weapon, because you would think he would of picked up any weapons he needed in the first few minutes when all the chaos started, instead of waiting nearly 30 minutes until the SEAL team confronted him and his wife on the 3rd floor. Timeline doesn't make sense if we are to believe the firefight was 40 minutes. Even if the firefight lasted 5 minutes, you would think OBL would of grabbed a weapon the very instant all the gunfire started. The Seal team would of taken a few minutes at least to clear the first and second floor before getting to the third floor. Plenty of time for OBL to already have a weapon in hand.

Does it really matter knowing the specific details of every minute? Osama is D-E-A-D dead. And when you wake up tomorrow, he will still be dead. And when you wake up the next morning, guess what! *GASP* Osams is still dead.

Osama is a heavy sleeper, and had trouble removing his sleep shades, then his morning piss, take care of morning wood with his soon-to-be human shield - time all adds up.

From a purely image point of view, the White House should have waited a little while before releasing the details. All they had to say at first was that they killed OBL and took his body to confirm it was him. Then they could have released the details when they had the story straight.

Giving the powers just the correct amount of time to ensure accuracy and integrity of the details guaranteeing the hoax goes undetected by the public!

All the news media asking everyone 10,000 questions with all responses "I am not at liberty to discuss details at this moment" arouses no suspicions what-so-ever.

No matter what is decided, attention whores can always twist any situation into a controversy for publicity.

Unfortunately for the white house, live witnesses were left back in pakistan, so they cannot just twist the version of events to suit their purposes as they normally would in a situation like this. That's why their version of events has been changing and most likely getting closer to what actually happened, although who knows how close it is still. I'll continue to take whatever they say with a grain of salt.

Bin Laden's daughter is talking in pakistan and saying he was executed in front of them on the first floor. We'll probably never get the full truth, our government has other agendas and giving people the truth is not their top priority. Never has been.

I agree. The SEALs were either instructed to "kill" OBL (probably because he didn't exist) or they were cowards. How can you avoid capture unarmed against the most sophisticated weaponry the world knows?

The story just keeps changing because the idiots in the administration are not as good at their job (lying) as the SEALs are at theirs (taking out the bad guys). They keep contradicting themselves; either shut up and say nothing at all, or tell the actual truth so there's no contradictions.

The feeling I got Sunday night after the first inkling of Bin Laden getting killed was pretty euphoric...Usama made his speech and I was actually impressed....Fast foward 4 days later, and everything we were told (except for UBL getting killed) has pretty much changed...

I don't understand how you can say everyone in the 'command center' witnessed the entire operation in real time, then make statements based on what was 'witnessed' (Usama fired shots, human shield, 40 minute firefight, etc) and then 4 days later, pretty much change everything that was said Sunday night...

The actual operation seems to have gone down pretty smooth...the PR job afterwards is turning into a total clusterfuck....

Yep. This administration is somehow, someway finding a way to fuck it up. Par for the course for Obama. It seems like Obama lied to the American people sunday night on what should have been a slam dunk. It's all being handled like a rank incompetent amateur. Even Hillary is doing facepalms at his actions.
