god some people are so fucking paranoid. just ship the damn thing back, you have a better chance of winning the lottery then getting arrested! if it comes with a box and a manual and the game looks even remotely close enough to the original the only people who will know is paypal you and the seller. your not going to stop Chinese black market knock offs.

Well, IMHO this is not ebay's or paypal's issue. They are only providing a market.

Most people bid too fast thinking the deal is going to walk on them, rather than asking questions.

Anything referenced in the auction or title of said auction that the bidder doesn't understand fully should be questioned.

That said I have sold many DOA items clearly referenced as PARTS ONLY...idiots try to make a federal case out of it so many times.

I now reply to any winning bidder prior to shipping that this is indeed an item that doesn't not work and would be useful for parts only.

They still think they know more than I and when they can't get it working want their money, fees and shipping back.

Obvious signs this was a scam made bold. I won't say you deserve to be taken, but you really need to pay more attention and start asking questions before buying something.

Getting "taken" implies that the OP didn't get a game and didn't get a game that worked.

The OP claims that it is fake. The OP could be wrong.

Try it and see if it works. If it does, use it and move on with your life.

This may come as a shock to you, but any games shipped directly to a consumer from a seller in asia is counterfeit, esp. given the text in the ebay auction.

OP, I don't think the feds are gonna do anything about this guy since he's not in the USA. Throw away the game if owning it bothers you (I know I would) and see if you can get on the chat with a different paypal rep who will let it through without you shipping it back.

Why didn't you just contact the seller first? He might have just said for you to keep the game, in which case you wouldn't have complained or made this thread. After all, you made it pretty clear you want to keep the game for yourself and get your money back.
